The DB 751 has garnered quite a bit of Internet chatter over the last few weeks. “What is different about this new amp?” “Why a new amplifier?” Aguilar President Dave Boonshoft has responded with a new, Behind The Bass Player blog entitled, “Why a DB 751?” Dave has provided an illuminating look at how and why this amp has come into being and we think you will find it to be an informative read. The Decemberists are one of our favorite bands here at Aguilar HQ so we were mighty excited to get the chance to chat with bassist Nate Query regarding the band’s fantastic new album, The Hazards of Love. Nate shares his experience in creating such a complex work and the challenges of pulling it off live. We are extremely exited and honored to welcome the following artists to the Aguilar Family: Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Nine Inch Nails), Yiorgos Fakanas (composer, solo artist), Hugh McDonald (Bon Jovi), Ruben Rodriguez (Tito Puente, Mark Anthony, Grover Washington Jr.), Chris Donohue (Emmylou Harris), Bernhard Lackner (solo), Miles Doughty/Kyle McDonald (Slightly Stoopid), Greg Richling (The Wallflowers).
