Welcome back to the Aguilar newsletter - bringing you the latest news and happenings straight from our New York City headquarters! This month we want to tell you about our Octamizer video demo, our latest artist interview and a special bass event coming to NYC in October.
First we brought you groovin’ sound samples from Chris Kuffner and Chris Chaney - now we have a video demonstration of the Octamizer analog octave pedal! Join Aguilar President Dave Boonshoft and bassist Jonathan Maron (Groove Collective, Meshell Ndegeocello) as they give you a detailed walkthrough of the pedal, showing some of the many possibilities that you can get out of the Octamizer.
Don’t miss it! Click here to view the video.
This month’s Artist Interview is with Tully Kennedy of the Jason Aldean band. Tully is one of Nashville’s hardest working bassists who has logged in countless hours in the studio and on stage. He also has one of the biggest Aguilar rigs on the road with two DB 750 heads, two DB 412 cabinets and two DB 115 cabinets! Read on to find out how Aguilar helps Tully achieve his tone when going from outdoor festivals to arenas and back again.
